I sure hope I'm not tempting fate with this poem about a hurricane, but it is that time of year, and this is so different from most of Emily's work that I really wanted to share it with you. I'm not sure which metaphor is more marvelous: "The doom's electric moccasin. . ." or ". . .a strange mob of panting trees. . .!" |
