DarkPoetry Poem of the Day: Humanity Impaled(Bringer)

Bringer of life,
of death,
of living and dying...
bringer of stagnation.
If I stare too long,
will the shrapnel
pierce a vital vein?
My self disdain is
a pool of blood
in a forgotten
realm of relevance.
Bringer of lust,
do you walk like sex
to see me drain myself?
Bringer of hope,
do you dangle rancid carrots before my eyes
on a barb wire nuse
to drink these tears of failure?

The plan
is a blue print
that concretes in faith
on soil that reproduces death.

The faith
is a battered child
who only cries for more.

The life
is that of a deer on a highway...
"when will then be now?"

Head up high,
you're far to spry
to be face to face with a semi.

Winner,winner...
chicken dinner...
You don't taste like fowl to me.

Dumpster bait...
eternally late.
Do yourself a favor
and swing.

Meaningless wind chime...
not worth the dime.
Do you think that you really matter?

Rope to throat...
there went your boat...
The bucket seems to shrink.

Fade with dignity...
show yourself
humanity,
impaled
upon
your
life.
