It's six a.m.
For some reason
I've got a hangover.
It feels like you.
I smell your shampoo...
On my pillow.
(Secretly, I take a moment
To smell you with a smile)
And your cologne
Has been washed over my sheets.
(Again, you have me sighing.)
You're my beautiful hangover.
The soft way you whisper
In my ear
Vibrates inside my head
107 times louder
Than you know how to talk.
And it's still a song
I would die to ear.
(Even if I know
The headache would be hell)
Your tongue is making me...
sick
Simply because
Of the left over alcohol.
But I continue to drink your kiss
Because
Tasting you makes me squirm
Beneath your demanding hands.
Waking up beside you
Is always as exciting
As going to bed wth you
The previous night.
Our last morning
Shall be more grand
Because goodbye sex
Is always better
Than everyday sex.
