How to Create Catchy Flyers

by Ralph Heibutzki

Nor do you need to be an artistic master to get an attention-grabbing result. If you pay attention to good design principles, you'll create pieces that will stand out from the crowd.

DarkPoetry Poem of the Day: peppermint schnapps and pumpkin pie

its 5 am and exactly one lifetime away from forever with you.

smoke heavy eyes bat away slumber
as pumpkin pie swirls dances sensually
in tune to the strum
of acoustic metal.

we speak of our love
and our dreams
our fears
and our drive.

butterfly kisses
eskimo kisses
baby ant kisses
and rocky horror live.

you are my wish list.

you speak in terms of "when"
and i hope you mean it.

sleep-drunk smiles
and giggles into your neck.

i wanted to tell you i love you
but sleep got in the way.

there's always tomorrow for us
(i hope)

i wouldnt change a thing.

Ever wish you could steal a memory? I'd claim Penny's in a heartbeat. She's taken a precious childhood experience and turned it into a poem that, if the words "Hi-yo, Silver! Away!" mean to you what they do to me, will put a great big grin on your face. And if you happened to be lucky enough to share that experience with your dad, well, saddle up for a saunter down Memory Lane--and get ready to puddle up!
