PIW 15 April 2011

In our second April issue, we introduce PIW's oldest living poet, Michio Mado, a Japanese writer best known for his children's books and songs, whose poetry is simple yet resonant. The PIW Zimbabwe domain presents Blessing Musariri, an internationally published writer who reflects on individual and collective postcolonial identity in a global age. We've also published poems by two excellent poets who will be coming to the Poetry International Festival in Rotterdam this June: Erín Moure (Canada) and Ion Mureşan (Romania).

Read the full editorial, article, poems and translations, and listen to audio recordings of Michio Mado's poems and translations in the current issue of PIW at
