Ah, our first hint that even August's heat will pass! What a lovely line--and colorful description of sunset--Marilyn gives us in the middle of this poem: "No trailing nine o'clock sunsets/festooned with streamers the color/of seashells, or Damson plums." Can't you just picture yourself on a lakeshore somewhere, admiring that view?
