Dear Omss Further to your newsletter email, I write as Chair of the Society to personally welcome you to the Spelling Society. The Spelling Society's Aim is to raise awareness of the personal and social problems caused by the irregularity of English spelling and to seek remedies to improve literacy including modernising spelling. On Saturday, 3rd July, we met for one of our regular quarterly meetings at the Library, 210, Old Brompton Road, Earl's Court, London, SW5 0BS at 10.45am. Our next Committee meeting will be on October 23rd, at the Library, 210, Old Brompton Road, Earl's Court, London, SW5 0BS at 10.45am. If you are free and in the vicinity of London, please feel free to join us. Lunch is provided to all those who attend.
