Hi Omss -
It's been far too long since we last had a poem by Elizabeth Reninger.
Each time I read this poem, feeling for an image or idea to hook my attention and suggest something to write in commentary, I find myself transported, line-by-glowing line, through to the end. I'll sit silent today and reread this poem once more. My advice? Do the same.
And have a beautiful day!

Elizabeth is a practitioner of the Taoist arts of qigong, acupuncture, tuina and poetry; and has been exploring the terrain of Inner Alchemy (Yoga/Qigong in various forms) for upwards of twenty-five years. She has had the privilege and good fortune of receiving instruction from a number of great Taoist, Buddhist and Hindu Teachers.
She writes an insightful, exploratory, often playful blog on Taoism at http://taoism.about.com/
I'm still waiting for Elizabeth Reninger's poetry to be discovered by the wider world. Do yourself a favor and buy a copy of her book And Now the Story Lives Inside You. Buy two, and give a copy to a friend. Perfect to read after a dawn walk or in the evening when the world grows quiet.
Elizabeth Reninger lives, teaches, writes, and plays in Boulder, Colorado.

...But the Forum will not be Returning
I've made the difficult decision to no longer host a forum on the Poetry Chaikhana website. After several days, technical and security issues remain, and I can't continue put more time into solving them right now. The forum has been a dynamic place where people have shared some truly amazing poetry, a special meeting ground for poets and practitioners. But it has always been a small group of a dozen or so regular contributors, too small for the time and energy required to continue hosting it. I've had to make a frustrating but practical decision given my limited time.
I would like to encourage those who will miss it to suggest another forum of poetry and the sacred... or possibly start your own. I'd be happy to post a link in the hopes that your poetic conversation can continue...
