How interesting that this poem about very physical work has such a gentle tone. My husband has embraced gardening with a vengeance this summer (he's chronicling his experiences at www.thegardeninggeek.net), so Bruce's poem really hits home.. I love how the tool changes with the season, and how one season flows into the next.
