Okay, on title alone, who could resist reading this? Sarah's poem presents love that's just like the cherries they're picking and putting by--a little bit sweet, a little bit tart--and all of us long-time couples can relate! The description "spattered in cherry gut" speaks volumes in this delightfully restrained exchange from a poet who is celebrating her debut on YDP as well as a birthday today!
